The Forest Ridge is a fantastic place to learn about nature, foraging, forest skills and the night sky. Our group includes two experienced leaders of foraging walks and an environmental scientist, and we are also keen to invite other leaders of learning to organise activities on the land. We’ll be planning a programme of learning events from 2025.
Arts & Culture
We all have an arts practice which we want to bring and share at The Forest Ridge. We’re talking to artists and arts organisations locally and further afield about coming to work with us - we’re planning to have residency space to offer to writers, performers, choreographers, film-makers, artists who want to be inspired by and respond to The Forest Ridge. Among our group are professional theatre-makers, producers and musicians and we’re developing ideas for creating site-responsive performance and engaging local communities in making future stories about The Forest Ridge.
